This townhouse spent three years on and off the market before we were brought in to assist. After we applied our magic touch, it sold at a record price for the building.

The parlor floor was the showpiece: soaring ceilings, dramatic windows, original mouldings, thrilling even with nothing in it. That was the feeling we set out to carry into every other room. Even with a floor like that at its center, the home would not sell. So we worked it floor by floor, top to bottom, until each level spoke the same language as the parlor.

The two lower floors got the same care as the showpiece. We even wallpapered the below-ground laundry room, to make a space most people would overlook feel considered.
