22 Mercer Street Apt 2D
There was a part of me that wanted to give up, but there was also a part of me that wanted to prove her wrong. I made my hater my motivator. I started to really push myself, build a team, and build my company.
4 years later I was asked to do the job after the space sat on the market for 255 days.
This time I got it.
This time I was there with a team, with the right inventory, and did the space justice.
52 days after staging, it went into contract and soon after, sold.
This home won the award for The Best Luxury Home Staging in the US for 2024. The irony is I was asked to do the job 4 years ago when the home was owned by someone else.
I'd toiled away on my own projects for about 15 years and had slowly started working on homes for other real estate agents. I submitted all my successes and was immensely proud of the work I had done. Imagining this as my big break, there was no doubt the project would land in the press and it would expose my work to a whole new audience.
Unfortunately it didn't work out. Let’s just say that the owner hated my work. She hated it so much that she wrote the word hate all over my deck with huge X’s marking all the things she didn't like, the word “NO” in caps was also common.
